Asia Argento is an Italian actress and filmmaker who is a member of the largest family with both. She's taken on these two careers for her own. As a young girl, Asia Argento made her acting debut in Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. Asia's focused and intense style of acting was also utilized for the part of Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. In addition, she had a prominent performance in the international ensemble of Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. She also was in a role with Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion by Peter Del Monte. This performance earned her a David di Donatello (for the most talented actor) as well as the Grolla in Oro. Asia started directing in the year 1994 she produced two short films: Prospettive (1996), a document on her father as well as Abel/Asia (1998) which was a documentary about the cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara.
